USF Pro 2000 is a big step up from USF2000.

AVON, Ind. – After an unexpected early end to my 2022 Cooper Tires USF2000 Championship season and almost four months out of the car, I’ll be back behind the wheel this weekend – and in a car that is one step closer to the NTT INDYCAR SERIES! I will be driving the #52 IU Simon Cancer Center/Browning Chapman/Race for RP USF Pro 2000 car for Miller Vinatieri Motorsports on Saturday and Sunday at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway in the USF Pro Fall Combine.

USF Pro 2000 was known as Indy Pro 2000 until a rebranding of the series and ladder system last week. The “Road to Indy” is now the USF Pro Championships Presented by Cooper Tires. The ladder system now starts with USF Juniors, then moves to USF2000 (which I drove in the last two seasons), followed by USF Pro 2000 (formerly Indy Pro 2000), then Indy Lights, and finally-the NTT INDYCAR SERIES.

Thanks to all the supporters for making this possible.

The USF Pro 2000 car has more power and grip because it uses bigger Cooper Tires and more effective wings. This makes the cars faster by about four or five seconds per lap at IMS than the USF2000 car. This weekend’s event is a full field official test, so it is an opportunity for me to feel out this new car and decide whether this is an option for next season. I’ve already had one day in the car to get a taste and it went well. We tested at GingerMan Raceway in Michigan three weeks ago and ran about 80 laps. I felt comfortable and can’t wait to have the opportunity to compare myself to a full field of drivers.

The team I’m working with this weekend is owned by former Indy 500 driver Dr. Jack Miller and former Colts kicker Adam Vinatieri. My teammate for the weekends is Jack William Miller. Jack also attends IUPUI and has raced in Indy Pro 2000 for the last two seasons. We’ve been friends with the Miller family since meeting them at the kart track in New Castle many years ago. Thank you to them for this opportunity!

Back to my roots. it’s exciting to carry the No. 52 again!

I also think it’s cool to sport the number 52 once again. For those who don’t know, I have used the number 52 since I first started in racing when I was 7. The #52 has been on almost every car or kart I have been behind until joining the Road to Indy, so I can’t wait to get back to my roots.

You should be able to follow timing and scoring on the series website (the app is in transition and won’t be available): USF Pro 2000 Championship Presented by Cooper Tires and we will share updates on my Twitter @JacksonLee52. You can also find info on our program and partners on my website at Home – JACKSON LEE RACING

I am very excited and grateful to all who have made this possible. I can’t wait to see what opportunities come from this.

Stay Fast,
Jackson
