Age 22 (born January 22, 1992); lives in Evanston, Ill. With no background in the sport, Michai (pronounced “MUH-k-EYE”) took part in his first season of racing in 2014 after winning the Skip Barber Racing School INYDCAR Academy Shootout. His prize of a full season in the Skip Barber Summer Racing Series allowed his dream to become a reality, making his debut at NOLA Motorsports Park in May. Rising to the challenge, Stephens was placed second in points with six poles, four race wins and four second-place finishes before skipping the final race weekend in order to pursue his Team USA commitments in the UK. He produced an impressive performance to finish a close third in the Walter Hayes Trophy final at Silverstone.
