Born May 11, 1996 in Clarendon Hills, Ill., Mitchell began racing at an indoor karting track in Chicago in 2009 at age 13. He attended the Skip Barber Racing School in 2010 and finished eighth in the SBRS Summer Series as a rookie. He placed fourth in the subsequent Summer Series, earning “Most Improved” honors. He is currently a leading contender in the Skip Barber Summer Series and the Ontario, Canada-based Toyo Tire F1600 Championship. More at www.jackmitchelljrracing.com.
