Born October 31, 1995 in Boynton Beach, Fla., Nunez attended the Skip Barber Racing School in 2009 after a background in karting and finished third, with top rookie honors, in the 2009/2010 SBRS Southern Series. He undertook a mixture of Skip Barber and Cooper Tires Prototype Lites Powered by Mazda races in 2011, winning the SBRS Summer Series, and this year has been a dominant force in the IMSA Prototypes Lites title chase with 10 wins from 12 races.
